‘Connecting for transformational change through learning’: LfS members’ networking event
On 6th December 2022, we were delighted to welcome members and invited guests for an in-person gathering at Leith Community Croft in Leith, Edinburgh, to network, share and celebrate stories and experiences on the theme of ‘transformational change through learning’.
Participants heard from two inspiring speakers – Rosa Murray from the University of Edinburgh and Evie Murray, founder of Earth in Common, the organisation which established the Leith Community Croft – who shared their own stories of transformational change through learning and the impact that this has had on their own practice and that of others.
Participants then continued their networking and sharing around a campfire in the atmospheric surroundings of the Croft itself: accompanied by food, mulled wine, crafting opportunities and live traditional Scottish music.
This event was the first of two events on the theme of ‘transformational change through learning’; with the second being our AGM – which will be held on Wednesday 11 January from 16:00 – 18:00. Please click here to register your place if you haven’t already done so and wish to attend.
