Funded Masters Degree in LfS at Edinburgh University

Wed 4th June 2014 - News

The University of Edinburgh’s Moray House School of Education is launching a new MSc in Learning for Sustainability; developed with input for LfS Scotland.  This programme offers practical insights and approaches to addressing Learning for Sustainability: a key Scottish Government and schools priority for successfully implementing Curriculum for Excellence and raising achievement and attainment across the school.  The content also responds directly to the General Teaching Council for Scotland’s inclusion of ‘Learning for Sustainability’ across the suite of Professional Standards.  Courses are delivered over weekends, evenings and online, therefore it provides a flexible way to gain a postgraduate qualification at MSc, Postgraduate Diploma, or Postgraduate Certificate level.

This programme joins two others that are closely related – MSc Outdoor Education and MSc Outdoor Environmental & Sustainability Education.  For more information on these MSc programmes and to apply for these courses please click here.

Scholarships are available to UK nationals who are permanently domiciled in Scotland, as well as EU nationals (excluding UK nationals) permanently domiciled in EU or Scotland but not elsewhere in UK, who have been accepted on an eligible full-time or part-time Master’s degree programme.  All of the above Masters programmes are eligible and you can find more information on these Scholarships here.
