About this meeting of the ESD Community of Practice

Welcome to our first official ESD Community of Practice Meeting – previously known as the ‘Topic Support Network’.

Through various speakers and discussions, we will examine learning in a time of AI, and have a look at this through an ESD lens.

Chaired by Scott Strachan, our ESD COP Covenor from the University of Strathclyde, we’ll hear from speakers at further and higher education providers about:

• The social, ethical and environmental impacts of AI
• An AI coach that helps you develop ESD lesson plans, designed to maximise efficiency and reliability
• Teaching methods that develop human competencies and that ensure our students grow and learn – away from ChatGPT
