What is this consultation about?
The Scottish Government is implementing a programme of reform for post-school education and skills to improve outcomes and increase efficiency. The overarching objectives of the post-school reform programme are set out in the Purpose and Principles for Post-School Education, Research and Skills.
As part of this, Scottish Government is consulting on proposals for legislation to change what public bodies do in the post-school system in order to simplify responsibilities for apprenticeships and student support.
