We’re delighted to be one of only two organisations from Scotland to be featured as part of the UK Pavilion’s Digital Showcase at #COP30

This global platform “… showcases some of the best UK-developed products and services tackling climate change. Their digital showreels will be played in the UK Pavilion throughout COP.”

Who are we and what are we showcasing?

Learning for Sustainability Scotland (LfSS) is Scotland’s UN University-recognised Regional Centre of Expertise (RCE) on Education for Sustainable Development.

As a pan-sectoral network of 1,000+ educators, policy-makers, and organisations, we work to embed Learning for Sustainability (LfS) and the UN Sustainable Development Goals across the everyday – for all educators and learners. Our partnership approach helps shape national education policy and practice, strengthening every child & young’s person right to LfS as an integral part of their education.

Our activity contributes to Scotland’s “movement for change so that every 3-18 place of education becomes a sustainable learning setting by 2030” and goes further to embed LfS into communities & tertiary education. We work with government, education leaders, educators, learners, national organisations & as part of a global network of over 200 RCEs to weave LfS across educational systems worldwide.

Our approach embeds an inclusive, inter-generational, local-global & holistic understanding of sustainability; enabling learners, educators & communities to drive transformative change.
