Sun 6th December 2020 - Uncategorised

QAA, the Quality Assurance Agency for Higher Education and Advance HE have launched a consultation 4th December 2020 – 22nd January 2021 on their major review of the 2014 Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) guidance for higher education providers. View the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Guidance – Consultation.

The Guidance builds upon the concept of education for sustainable development,  identifies a process and offers a toolkit for designing education for sustainable development into curricula.

In revising the guidance, QAA and Advance HE have worked with an expert advisory group drawn from, and acting on behalf of, the higher education, student and business community. The team included LfS Scotland Director, Prof Pete Higgins and Chair, Dr Rehema White.

Join LfS Scotland and EAUC Scotland at our ESD Topic Support Network meeting on the 15th January 2021 10am – 12pm to discuss the revised guidance and develop a collective response.  You can book onto the event here.
