SUMMARY:The 12th Global RCE Conference is coming to Scotland...
DESCRIPTION:The 12th Global RCE Conference will be held online from 16-18 November\, 2021. \n\n\n\nThe event will be jointly hosted by RCE Scotland and the Global RCE Service Centre under the theme ‘Achieving the Sustainable Development Goals: action through learning in a time of global crises’.  \n\n\n\nOver these three days\, delegates from over 180 Regional Centres of Expertise across the world will come together to collectively share\, explore and build on the knowledge\, skills and values within this global network to support the capacities and actions needed to achieve the SDGs. \n\n\n\nClick here to view the draft programme. \n\n\n\nRegistrations are now also open and you can sign up here. \n\n\n\nBe part of the celebrations!\n\n\n\nWe are delighted that such a prestigious event is coming to Scotland. This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase and celebrate some of the fantastic learning that is happening across our country to make sustainability part of the everyday for learners of all ages and backgrounds. We’d be very grateful\, therefore\, if you would consider sharing your Learning for Sustainability story as part of this. You have until 01st November to send your contribution to us at enquiries@lfsscotland.org. \n\n\n\nThere are two ways you can share your activity: \n\n\n\n1. As a ‘Postcard’: \n\n\n\nThis would consist of a short video clip (5 minutes or less)\, outlining your activity. Ideally\, it would include footage of your work and the people involved in it\, and either a voiceover and/or text outlining your activity\, its aims and its outcomes/impact. Accompanying music would be especially welcome! We will be selecting two of the Postcards submitted to us for showcasing during the Conference itself and all Postcards will be uploaded to our online ‘Sharing Space’ for delegates to view at their leisure.\n\n\n\n2. As a contribution for our online ‘Sharing Space’: \n\n\n\nWe will be building an online platform for sharing good practice from across Scotland and our RCE colleagues worldwide. You can send us content in any format you choose: e.g. video\, PDF\, graphic/photograph\, or as a link to content on your own website.\n\n\n\nPlease don’t hesitate to contact us at enquiries@lfsscotland.org if you’d like any additional information. \n\n\n\nWe look forward to hearing from you!
