About this Task Group

This task group has been set up to understand the level of connection to nature of children and young people in Scotland (0 – 25 years).

Key objectives: To understand what activities enhance connection to nature Identify possible links with factors that impact sustainability Inform policy and practice to enhance nature connection Share how we measure connection Actions

This new group brings together a rich and exciting mix of experiences, skills and expertise as well as loads of enthusiasm.

In 2017, the group worked with the City of Edinburgh Council to co-host the annual Learning for Sustainability conference at Edinburgh Napier University - with over 200 practitioners getting together to share and develop their skills in lfs.

The group is now looking to refresh its key objectives and will be meeting in Spring 2018 to discuss new plans and approaches. Keep a look out on the website for updates, and why not book a place at this year's LfS Conference? We are delighted to be involved in the organisation of this year's event once more - which has the SDGs as its central theme. For more information on how to book your free place, click here.
