Social Media Training Course
Monday 11 April 2016
Moray House School of Education, University of Edinburgh
10am - 4pm
Social Media has changed the way we all communicate. It's a powerful tool that connects us to our members, promotes our events and services and engages us with people we've never had the opportunity to meet. It's fast, it's effective and best of all - it's free.
Many of us know that harnessing social media is a fantastic way to get our message out in to the ether and start making meaningful and successful connections. With the click of a few buttons new audiences are reached, key decision makers are influenced and new partnerships are developed. Job done!
And then there's the rest of us...
There are many barriers to using social media in the workplace - time, confidence, know-how to name a few. The trouble is - these barriers are not going to go away so why not join us on our Social Media training course to learn how to jump over the hurdles and embrace social media for yourself?
Hosted by Ross McCulloch, Founder of Third Sector Lab & Be Good Be Social, this interactive & informative workshop cuts through all the hype and jargon, helping you think strategically about social media and how it can work for you. We’ll show you how to develop a simple social media strategy, how you can measure your success and how you can maximise on your message whilst reducing the time you work on it.
Even if you are currently using social media in your work, this training session will develop knowledge you already have and give you a stack of new ideas to boost your output.
This is a full-day, training session. You will leave the session with lots of new practical skills to take back into your workplace and you will gain access to resources online to use for a long time to come.
The session costs £60. Refreshments will be provided throughout the day.
A more detailed agenda will be available in the very near future.
Spaces are very limited, so please book your place ASAP. To book your place, please complete the form HERE.
