With social media, LfSS members have a fantastic tool at their finger tips to help them communicate with a broader range of people than ever before.

Social media has changed how we talk to people and there are simple and effective ways to harness its power so that we truly engage with our supporters. With the click of a few buttons we can easily reach new audiences, influence key decision makers, build new partnerships and to promote our services to expand our message.

This is a hugely useful, interactive training session, hosted by Hosted by Ross McCulloch, Founder of Third Sector Lab & Be Good Be Social The workshop cuts through all the hype and jargon, helping you think strategically about Twitter and Facebook, blogging, video for the web and more. We’ll show you how to develop a simple social media strategy, how you can measure your success and how you can protect your staff with a robust policy and guidelines.

Even if you are currently using social media in your work, this training session will develop knowledge you already have and give you a stack of new ideas to boost your output, whilst reducing the amount of time you spend on it.

This is a full-day, interactive training session. You will leave the session with lots of new practical skills to take back into your workplace and you will have access to resources online to use for a long time to come.

The session costs £60 with refreshments provided.

A more detailed agenda will be available in the very near future.
