    AGM & Networking Day

    Tuesday 8 December 2015

    You are warmly invited to Learning for Sustainability Scotland’s Annual General meeting at:

    Moray House School of Education,

    University of Edinburgh,

    Holyrood Road,

    EH8 8AQ

    As the dust settles after the UN Climate Change conference and the world embarks on making progress towards newly adopted UN Sustainable Development Goals; this year’s AGM will consider the implications for learning for sustainability in Scotland.

    Particular emphasis will be on contributing to the new Global Action Programme (post UN DESD) and the Scottish Government’s conversation on a Fairer Scotland.

    As a valued member of Learning for Sustainability Scotland you are invited take part in this AGM.

    For you, this is a chance to:

    • Vote for LfS Scotland’s Steering Group members, shaping the future work of the Network;
    • Find out about and contribute to future plans for Learning for Sustainability Scotland,  and the sector in general;
    • Take part in interactive workshops, which will provide you with practical skills to take with you back into the workplace;
    • Meet and network with other interested members over a relaxed lunch.

    It has been two years since our current Steering Group was voted in by our membership and this year's AGM will also include an election of Steering Group members for the next two year term. Members play an important role representing the wider membership, providing strategic advice and direction to support Learning for Sustainability Scotland’s Vision, Mission and Objectives.

    If you would like to learn more about the LfS Scotland Steering Group and perhaps nominate someone for inclusion in the election then more details are available here.

    The AGM is a FREE event for our members. Previous years have reached capacity so if you would like to attend, please complete this form and email back to Abi Cornwall to avoid disappointment.

    If you would like to come along but have not yet joined our growing membership you can do so free of charge today by clicking this link.

    We look forward to seeing you at this event.
