Project Manager: Connecting Classrooms through Learning for Sustainability

A Project Manager with a working knowledge of Learning for Sustainability practice and policy in Scottish schools is sought to lead on developing and coordinating the British Council Connecting Classrooms through Learning for Sustainability Programme in Scotland 2018-21.

 Part of an international British Council /DfID programme, the aim of this work is to support teachers to access the programme and embed Learning for Sustainability (bringing together Global Learning, Education for Sustainable Development and Outdoor Learning) in their teaching and institutions. Working with a team of Local Advisors, this is a significant opportunity to support clusters of schools in Scotland in providing quality and impactful Learning for Sustainability for young people. In Scotland the project will work with up to 32 clusters of schools and 5500 teachers.
