LfS Scotland wins UNESCO award!
We are delighted to announce that the Communities with a Common Cause Action Learning Programme, created and delivered by the LfSS Values Task Group, won an Outstanding Flagship Project Award at the 9th Global Regional Centres of Expertise on ESD Conference held in Okayama, Japan in early November.
The judging panel were particularly impressed by the innovative nature of the project and its contribution to pushing forward the field of Education for Sustainable Development. Delegates who listened to the presentation on the project were very excited about it and copies of the report are now being distributed to our sister RCEs all over the world.
Congratulations to Pam Candea, The Surefoot Effect; Osbert Lancaster, changemaking; Anthony Morrow, The Conservation Volunteers; Kerry Riddell, The Conservation Volunteers; and Morag Watson, Learning for Sustainability Scotland who designed and delivered the project.
